Laboratory

Sequencing performed on every sample at no charge

Sterihub state-of-the-art laboratory is a critical part of our turnkey end-to-end solution to microbiome discovery. Staffed with experts in microbiome research, our in-house lab provides unparalleled expertise, convenience, and cost savings, giving us significant advantages over others in the industry. Most important, our in-house lab offers the reassurance that lab sequencing is being provided by specialists in the human microbiome.

Free Sequencing on Each Sample

Our laboratory costs are so low, all samples produced by the biosensor receive 16(S) rRNA sequencing at the BiomeSense lab at no cost. Shallow or deep shotgun sequencing is also available, at costs far below industry standard.

Standardized Results

All samples undergo the same sequencing process, standardizing results across any range of sample volume and allowing for cross-trial comparison.

Bioinformatics

Revolutionary bioinformatics to turn data into discovery

Providing high-quality, dense data isn’t enough that data has to lead to answers. As the final stage of our integrated solution, we are developing a custom bioinformatics platform, the first ever specifically designed to process and analyze the unprecedented quantities of time-series data produced by our pipeline.

Over time, this platform will allow us to create the only standardized, time-series microbiome database in existence with the ability to analyze vast amounts of data within a trial and between trials. As this database grows, our vision is to open it to academic investigators worldwide, exploding microbiome innovation. This revolutionary approach ensures all data generated undergo best-in-class analytical techniques, designed and developed by the team behind the QIIME platform. These novel techniques are being created specifically for longitudinal microbiome investigations, dramatically improving the ability to discover, validate, and interpret microbiome-based discoveries.
